Any Natural playing surface will benefit from timely seasonal maintenance work.

Spring/Summer/Autumn fertiliser application, over-seeding and selective herbicide treatments are a few we are often asked to provide.

Regular use of any surface causes shear damage and compaction. Whilst many areas will regenerate and recover, certain areas such as goal mouths, centre circle, and other areas of intensive traffic will benefit from seasonal over-seeding or re-seeding.

   

Periodically Verti-drain decompaction & aeration may be necessary on some sites to alleviate surface compaction and allow top-dressing to be introduced into the topsoil layer to condition it, especially if it has a high clay content. This operation also helps aeration and encourages root development, surface water drainage and grass establishment.
