June has been a warm and wet month, perfect weather for over-seeding sports pitches,ensuring rapid germination and etsablishment of new seeds.

We have been asked to continue cutting and collecting the area until the end of this growing season which looks like being mid December 2011 due to the mild Autumn. We will continue to monitor the site and advise as necessary during 2012 to ensure KLASSIC get the most from their investment and the new playing surface receives the appropriate maintenance work , fertiliser and spray chemicals

Early 2011 Links Turf Layers were appointed as subcontractors for a project at Eastwood School in Essex. O’Brien contractors were acting as Principal contractor on a “Design and Build” contract for the construction of a synthetic “Mondo” 6 lane, 400m IAAF and UK Athletics track with associated field activities.
